The study course provides students with information on terminology creation, application and alignment, as well as terminography management systems. The study course introduces information about planning activities and electronic management of terminology, which spans a range of interdependent phases, such as organizing documentation and capturing data from running text, storing, editing, maintaining and updating data using various data structures. Throughout the study course, students are encouraged to broaden their individual knowledge and understanding of the study course as well as to undertake independent reading both to supplement and consolidate what is being taught. Students share the samples of compiling personal term data bank for peer evaluation and discuss successful term creation strategies, common difficulties, and the ways of solving a variety of terminology alignment related issues.
