During the study course, students are introduced to the main types of modern electromechanical converters, transformers and apparatus, their general principles, methods of determination of basic parameters and their characteristics. The general principles of modern electromechanical converter mathematical modelling are reviewed. The problem of the development of modern contactless electromechanical converters and apparatuses, their solutions and development perspectives are discussed.
