The study course introduces the student to the basic concepts of industrial sustainability and circular economy and provides an opportunity to learn these topics practically. The lessons will combine theoretical content and practical teamwork on the project. During the study course, students will learn the concept of sustainable development and the principles of the circular economy and their application to real cases in production, as well as develop skills such as creativity, systemic thinking, and teamwork.
The study course contains information about sustainable development and circular economy and the need for their implementation; European Union and national laws and standards; ecodesign and ecolabels; product life cycle and its assessment; material processing and recycling technologies; industrial symbiosis and circular economy business models, as well as measures to create a sustainable company.
