The study course is dedicated to mastering the basics of sewing product processing. The seams, their classification and properties, machine stitchings formation processes, types of seams, structure, application are considered. A description of sewing machine tools, physical description of their operation is given. Adhesive and welded joints used in the manufacture of clothing, equipment for their production and methods and equipment for hygrothermal treatment of the sewn product were evaluated.
