The student acquires knowledge about the properties of a single series of polymers, as well as about the volume interaction of several chains. The study course also provides an in-depth understanding of macromolecular conformations and configurations, quantitative characteristics of macromolecules, relaxation processes in macromolecular systems, amorphous and crystalline state of polymers, polymer analysis and testing methods. The study work is focused on structuring the knowledge of the student in polymer physical chemistry, linking it with polymer chemistry technology, polymer material processing and polymer material operation properties, i.e. by studying the physical properties of polymeric materials.
