The study course develops student interpreting skills and develops listening comprehension, multi-tasking, and note-taking skills so that students were able to identify and solve various translation problems, apply modern interpreting technologies, and advance their personal professional competence in consecutive interpreting. At the practical classes, students are trained to identify, reformulate and summarize the main ideas, to use contemporary technical tools; they acquire complex interpreter's communicative skills, train their memory and reception skills, improve note-taking skills translating audio and video recordings, as well as spontaneous speech and conversation on a range of themes.
