The study course is dedicated to the in-depth study of computer aided design methods of mechanical engineering engineering objects using CAD software SolidWorks. The study course deals with the theory and practical issues of feature-based parametric design. The study course covers three main modeling modes in more detail: creating 3D models of parts, assembling assembly models from components and generating drawings from the created models. Students get acquainted with other more advanced design modules, as well as with some virtual simulation capabilities in SolidWorks software.
